My Brush With Fame

Yesterday I was at a PTA meeting and after, I was talking to one of the ladies about her husbands photography, and explaining that I was a photographer too. This other very sweet girl (JN) asked me if I had a website and just as I was about to tell her what it was she said, "cause' have you ever looked at Aynn Thurman Photography." I said, "I am Aynn Thurman". We both had a great laugh about it and I felt famous for the rest of the day. Thank you for making my day JN!

Perfecting the Talent - Adding to our personal Rep·er·toire

In everything we do there is always room for improvement. As an artist I am always looking for ways to perfect my talents. Of course I will never reach perfection but I do strive to inhale as much knowledge about what I love so much. Recently I went to a workshop with an internationally known photographer Kenneth Linge I learned so many wonderful techniques and I am looking forward to adding them to my photography rep·er·toire. Below are some fun images I took during the course and hope you enjoy them.

Shooting into the sun! If you do photography you know how very very difficult this is!

Then we added a diffuser/sin-swatter over her head and got details back in the hair next.

This photo was fun to shoot because it was taken after the sun went down. But LOOK how blue the sky is!!!

This shoot was a lot of fun and meant a lot to me as it was my way of giving to back.
This family received a photo shoot for purchasing the winning raffle ticket for the Day for Danger event.
Again, a BIG thank you to all those who entered. All contributions went towards Day for Danger. Your donations provided 10 days! If you feel like donating or would like more information about Donate a Day for "Danger" go to:
